Kachumber Salad

Kachumber salad is a classic Indian side that perfectly complements spicy mains. This crisp and refreshing mix of cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and bell pepper tossed with black salt, chat masala, lemon juice, and fresh cilantro adds a cool, tangy crunch to every meal. Serves: 2 persons | Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 mini cucumbers

  • 150 g cherry tomatoes

  • 50 g red onions

  • ⅓ medium bell pepper

  • Cracked black pepper, to taste

  • Black salt, to taste

  • Lemon juice, to taste

  • Fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Chop the cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, red onions, and bell pepper into small cubes, either by hand or using a chopper.

  2. In a bowl, add black salt, chat masala, cracked black pepper, chopped cilantro, and lemon juice.

  3. Toss everything together until well combined.

  4. Serve immediately and enjoy the fresh, tangy flavours!
